Region
A colored, named area on the crime scene map that groups cells together.
Explanation
Regions (also called areas or rooms) are colored zones on the map like Library, Refreshments, or Discussion Circle. They matter for spatial clues (beside usually requires same region) and for the murder condition (victim and murderer must be alone in the same region).
Example
The Library region might cover 6 cells in the upper-left corner. All suspects in those 6 cells are 'in the Library.'
Common Mistake
Two physically touching cells may belong to different regions. Always check the colored boundary lines.
