Murdoku Contest 2026: The Treasure Hunt
Solve a 24×24 Murdoku case, locate the treasure chest, and enter a draw for five prizes. The official page calls this the first 24×24 case and the hardest Murdoku puzzle it has made. This is a correct-answer prize draw, not a fastest-solver ranking.
Searching for “Murdoku Treasure Hunter”? The official event name is The Treasure Hunt. This guide covers that contest; the official sources do not explicitly call it the first worldwide Murdoku competition.

Submit your answer before the contest closes. The rules allow the email verification link to be clicked within 24 hours after closing; that extra day is not an extension for submitting answers.
How to enter The Treasure Hunt
Check eligibility first
Read the English official rules and check the residence selector on the official form. Participation is free; buying a book does not improve your odds.
Get the official PDF during the contest
Use the download on the official contest page when the window opens. This event is PDF-only, unlike the ordinary browser cases in our case library.
Solve, then submit once
Find the treasure chest’s row and column, each numbered 1–24. Submit them on the official form with your name, email and country of residence. Your answer is final, whether right or wrong.
Verify your email
Click the emailed verification link by the separate verification deadline. Only correct entries with verified email addresses qualify; you will not receive immediate correctness feedback.
Who can enter? Important limits
- Entrants must be at least 18 and reside in a country listed in the official form. Worldwide availability has exceptions; it does not mean every country is eligible.
- The rules exclude residents of Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Italy, Brazil and Portugal, as well as any country missing from the selector. Sponsor employees and their household members are also excluded.
- There is one entry per person, email address and household/network. Shared households or networks may be affected. Do not submit duplicates or try to bypass the limit; automated or manipulated entries are disqualified.
Five winners, not five fastest solvers
The promotional page describes five prize packs, each featuring a numbered wooden treasure chest from a run of 30, signed Murdoku Volumes 2 and 3, Volume 2 stationery/stickers and an exclusive Wild West puzzle.
The rules specify a random draw within seven days of closing, using a published random seed. Your odds depend on the number of eligible entries, not your finishing position.
Selected winners are contacted by email and have 48 hours to respond with a shipping address and proof of identity, age and residence. Otherwise, an alternate can be drawn. Winners’ full names and countries may be published on Murdoku’s website and social media.
