Scene
A chain of mysterious islands scattered across deep blue waters, each one isolated from the next, each one bearing signs of human presence. The ferry captain gets a radio call after dropping off the last tourists — the island phones have gone dead. By the time he turns back, one island is empty, and another has more people on it than it should.

She is south of Irene, who is on the same island.
Only two people are south of her.
The Victim. He was in the last possible cell with his murderer, on an island or in the ocean.
