How to create and print your Sudoku worksheet
- Select A4 or US Letter, then one or more difficulty levels.
- Choose 1, 2, 4 or 6 puzzles per page and 1–100 puzzle pages.
- Generate the PDFs, then open or save both the puzzles and their answer key. Print from your PDF reader.
What do the five difficulty levels mean?
These are our own solver-based bands, not universal or competitor-equivalent ratings. They measure solving work, not just the number of starting digits. Human difficulty varies.
What do the five difficulty levels mean? — v1
Method v1 uses naked singles, hidden singles, box/line intersections and naked pairs, in that order. The last two bands use deterministic minimum-candidate search after this logical pass; they are not certified advanced-technique or human-tested ratings.
Print cleanly on A4 or Letter
- Match the selected paper size in your print dialog and use Actual size / 100%. Disable browser headers and footers if offered.
- One puzzle per page gives the most room for large digits and pencil notes. Six per page saves paper; try two or four for more writing space.
- Answers are a separate PDF, six per page. They do not count toward your chosen puzzle-page total. Keep both files: each grid has the same stable puzzle ID in both.
- The PDFs use English level labels and digits in all interface languages. No ads appear inside the PDFs. On mobile, save the file first if your browser cannot open a print dialog.
Classic Sudoku rules
- Fill each row with the digits 1–9, with no repeats.
- Each column must also contain every digit once.
- Each outlined 3×3 box contains 1–9. The starting numbers cannot change.

Are these printable Sudoku PDFs free?
Yes. Generate, download and print them without an account. These original worksheets may be used for personal or classroom practice. They are classic Sudoku, not copies of official Murdoku cases.
Can I print six puzzles per page or a large-print version?
Yes. Choose 6 per page for a compact sheet, or 1 per page for large grids. Layouts with 2 and 4 per page are also available, on A4 and US Letter.
Will a new worksheet repeat puzzles?
No puzzle repeats within a batch. In this tab, the next batch avoids all IDs from the immediately previous batch. Reloading clears that history, and older puzzles can appear again: this is a finite 6,000-puzzle collection, not an unlimited supply of never-repeated puzzles.
Can I mix levels or create 100 pages?
Yes. Select multiple levels for a nearly even, shuffled mix. A 100-page, six-per-page worksheet contains 600 puzzles, plus a separate matching answer PDF.
