The suspect who was killed. Identified by specific clue cards.
Explanation
One suspect is the victim. Clue cards will reveal who the victim is (sometimes directly, sometimes through elimination). Identifying the victim is a key mid-game milestone because the murder condition ties the victim to the murderer.

A clue card might say 'Cameron is the victim' or 'The victim is alone with someone in the Library.'
