Difficulty

The complexity tier of a case, determined by grid size, number of suspects, and clue complexity.

Game Mechanics

Explanation

Murdoku cases are organized into five difficulty tiers: Very Easy (6×6), Easy (5×5 to 9×9), Medium (8×8 to 12×12), Hard (9×9 to 13×13), and Expert (16×16). Difficulty increases with grid size, suspect count, and how many deduction steps are needed.

Example

Very Easy cases (6×6, ~6 suspects) can be solved in a few minutes. Expert cases (16×16, many suspects) may take hours.
