She also cannot be in the Ranger's Hut or else there would not be enough room for (E) and (K) in C11 and C12.Which area can (H) be in? She cannot be in the Lake since there's not enough room for 3 people. She cannot be on the Rocky Trail because everyone there wore glasses, and (H) doesn't have any glasses. She cannot be in the Entrance Booth since no one's clue can allow them to be in R13. This means (H) has to be on the Windy Trail R14C2. This isolates (F) to R6C10.Now that we know the Windy Trail contains at least 3 people, we can deduce that (A), (B), and (H) are there. (V) cannot be there because she has to be alone with the murderer. Because (B) is exactly two rows north of (F) and has to be in the Windy Trail, we can deduce that (B) is in R4C6.This isolates (K). This isolates (D) in the last square in the Pine Forest.Per the general clue, there are two empty rows, both of which contain a bear. Since (B) and (D)'s rows occupied a bear, this means R2 and R8 must be empty. Cross out both rows. This isolates (E). This isolates (A) in the last square on the Windy Trail. This isolates (C) in the last square on the Rocky Trail.(J) must be in C5 to be beside a bear. This isolates (G) to R1C7 to be beside a boulder. This isolates (V) to R9C8, then isolates (J). So (V) was in the Bear Woods with (J). Joe is the murderer!
