Coordinate note: R1 means row 1, C1 means column 1, and C1R1 is the upper-left cell. ROMCOM, WESTERN, EPIC, WAR, HORROR, SCIFI, and SET refer to the sound-stage regions on the map.

Hint 1: establish the R1–R6 camera constraint
- Rows R1–R6 contain three cameras. By the general clue, every camera has one person beside it, occupying 3 rows. Mark D, F, and M: none of them can be beside a camera, but D is beside a flower in ROMCOM, F is beside a cactus in WESTERN, and M is beside a catapult in EPIC. D, F, and M then take the remaining 3 rows, so I cannot be in WESTERN. I is fixed at C15R13.

Hint 2: converge the cameras and lock the first placements
- The only remaining camera-adjacent spot in WAR is C16R11, so every other position in column C16 and row R11 can be crossed out.
- L's clue: L is beside rubble. Only WAR and EPIC have rubble. EPIC's rubble positions are not beside a camera, so L must be in WAR, in column C13 or C14. Meanwhile, the HORROR camera-adjacent spot is also in these two columns. Columns C13 and C14 will be taken by L and the camera person, so cross out the rest of C13 and C14 (including EPIC's C13/C14 cells and HORROR's bed cell).
- N's clue: N can only be at C3R15 or C3R16. Cross out the rest of column C3.
- The WESTERN camera-adjacent spot must be in row R4, so cross out every other position in row R4 except the camera spot.
- Now look at the map: M has only one position left. M is at C10R5.
- The ROMCOM camera-adjacent spot has only one option, in column C6. This position must be C, so C is at C6R3.
- The EPIC camera-adjacent spot has only one option left: C11R1. Cross out every other position in column C11 and row R1.
- From D's clue, D can only be at C9R2. F is also fixed: F is at C5R6.
- The SCIFI camera-adjacent spot must be C8R16. Cross out the rest of column C8 and row R16. Now N is fixed: N is at C3R15.

Hint 3: finish the movie studio
- G's clue: there is a woman beside a camera in G's region. Check the women: B (beside a TV, cannot be beside a camera), D (already placed), and N (on a bed, cannot be beside a camera) are excluded. Only H and O remain. The only camera-adjacent spot they can occupy is C14R9. H is already confirmed in HORROR, and HORROR only fits two people, so C15R9 must be H. H is at C14R9.
- With H placed, G can now be fixed in HORROR. The general clue says exactly one person is beside each camera, so G is at C12R8.
- From the current board, L's position is now fixed: L is at C13R12.
- O is on a chair. Only one chair position remains on the map: O is at C2R7.
- The position matching A's clue: A is at C8R16.
- The camera at C11R2 has only one empty adjacent spot, so the rest of column C11 can be crossed out. Only one position fits B's clue: B is at C7R10.
- By the general clue, K must be in SET, and the camera-adjacent corner spot fits: K is at C16R11.
- One camera-adjacent spot remains — it must be E. E must be in SET and against a wall, so E is at C11R1.
- J's clue: J is in the region but not in a corner. Only one position left on the map fits: J is at C4R4.
- The last position on the board is V: V is at C1R14.
